John Fede

John Fede is the Senior Vice President of Technology Services at Ent Credit Union. John has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, and has held executive positions at both KPMG US and Ent Credit Union.

At KPMG US, John was responsible for leading the infrastructure team through Cloud, Operational and Organizational transformation. John liaised with business leaders to understand strategic roadmaps and position IT to support the next generation of application and customer engagement. John was brought in to provide IT maturity and operational excellence to improve service delivery, reliability and performance. John was given responsibility for a $50M annual budget, and organized a right sized and properly sourced team of over 100 IT professionals. John supported the deployment and operations of all Operating Systems, Virtualization Platforms, Enterprise Backup Recovery and Storage.

During their time at KPMG US, John implemented several changes that improved the efficiency and quality of the IT department. John reorganized a wholly in-house undersized team to a right sized team of professionals with a mix of in-house, 3rd party and outsourced providers. John also improved SLA delivery by 70% within the first 3 months, and implemented a continuous improvement process to drive SLA adherence. In addition, John increased security posture by focusing team efforts on security remediation plans and effectively engaging with security and engineering team on solutions. John also drove an effort to implement an appropriate patch practice for all aspects of infrastructure. Lastly, John

John Fede has a Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. John also has certification from ITIL in ITIL v3 Certification.
