Ed Maguire

Ed Maguire has a strong background in financial crime compliance with extensive experience in various roles and positions. Ed is currently the Group MLRO and Global Head of Anti Financial Crime at Entain since March 2023.

Prior to that, they held the position of MD - GBM Head of FCC Europe at Scotiabank from May 2019 to November 2022.

From September 2017 to May 2019, Ed worked as MD - Regional Head of FCC, Europe at Standard Chartered Bank.

Before that, they served at Deutsche Bank as AFC: Global Head of KYC from January 2016 to September 2017 and as Regional Head of AML EMEA, UK MLRO from February 2012 to February 2016.

Ed'sprevious roles include Head of FCU & MLRO at Societe Generale from March 2010 to February 2012, Head of AML Compliance - CEEMEA /MLRO (CF11) at Macquarie Bank from January 2009 to January 2010, and MLRO at Lehman Brothers from 2005 to 2009.

Ed also worked as Deputy MLRO at Dresdner Kleinwort from February 2002 to February 2005.

Ed started their career as an Executive Officer at HM Customs & Excise - National Investigation Service (NIS) in November 1993, later becoming a Financial Investigator from December 1997 to January 2002.

Ed Maguire completed their Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Decision Sciences from the University of Hertfordshire between 1990 and 1993.
