Johannes Kunz

Johannes Kunz has extensive experience in the field of compliance and legal affairs. Johannes currently holds the position of Head of Compliance International at Entain, where they lead a team of Compliance Executives responsible for various countries. Prior to joining Entain, Johannes served as the Head of Compliance Austria at Credit Suisse from 2018 to 2021 and at UBS from 2016 to 2018. Johannes also held the position of Head of Legal - Deputy Head of Compliance at WIENER PRIVATBANK SE from 2014 to 2016. Before transitioning to a compliance role, Johannes worked as a Junior Partner - Lawyer at DLA Piper from 2010 to 2014 and as a Junior Associate at KWR Karasek Wietrzyk Rechtsanwälte from 2008 to 2010. Their career started as a University Assistant at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) from 2006 to 2008, where they worked at the Institute for Corporate Law.

Johannes Kunz completed their education in a chronological order. Johannes obtained their Doctor of Law - JD degree from the University of Vienna between 2001 and 2005, with a focus on Corporate Law, Civil Law, and Banking Law. In the same year, they briefly studied International Law and Legal Studies at the University of Bern. Additionally, they pursued studies in European Law and International Law at the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg in 2005.
