Maria Barrios

Maria Barrios is an accomplished benefits professional with extensive experience in health and welfare benefit strategy. Currently serving as Director of Global Benefits at Entegris since April 2024, Maria previously held the position of Advisor for Special Projects and Compliance at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from November 2023 to March 2024. Maria has also worked as Director of Benefits at Tufts Medicine, where responsibilities included managing benefits for 15,000 employees across six entities and overseeing the Open Enrollment process. Prior to that, Maria served as Director of Benefits and Wellness at Dartmouth College, directing benefits plans for 4,000 employees, and as Health and Welfare Benefits Manager at MIT, handling benefits for 18,000 employees and retirees. Maria holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Policy and International Commerce from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universidad de La Sabana.
