David Schumacher

David Schumacher has over 30 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. David started their career in 1982 as an Engineering Associate at Western Electric / AT&T Technologies. David then worked as a Field Engineer at SouthernNet / Telecom*USA from 1986 to 1990. From 1991 to 1994, they were a Technical Specialist III at MCI Corporation, and then became a Technical Service Manager at MCI / WorldCom from 1994 to 1999. David worked as a Switch Operations Manager at Deltacom from 1999 to 2007. From 2007 to 2013, they were a Sales Engineer at EarthLink Business, and then became a Carrier Sales Engineer at the same company from 2013 to 2017. David worked as a Wholesale Sales Engineer at Windstream for a brief period in 2017, and later served as an Operations Engineer / Cloud Solutions Engineer at GTT / Access Point Inc from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are a Sr. Solutions Engineer at EnTelegent Solutions.

David Schumacher attended R. J. Reynolds High School from 1973 to 1975. David then pursued a degree in General Studies at Appalachian State University from 1975 to 1977 but did not complete the program. Later, from 1980 to 1982, they attended Forsyth Technical Community College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
