Research Scientist at Enterome

Sothea Touch Dumoitier has worked as a Research Scientist at Enterome since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sorbonne Université from April 2018 to September 2021, focusing on human regulatory T cells induced by Faecalibacterium prausnitzii and their applications in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. They also have experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ICAN Institute of Cardiometabolism & Nutrition from March 2017 to April 2018. Sothea's work experience includes a PhD student role at Inserm from October 2013 to March 2017, where they studied intestinal T lymphocytes in relation to obesity and type 2 diabetes. They also completed master internships at INSERM U872 in 2013 and 2012, focusing on intestinal T lymphocytes and complement and diseases research, respectively.

Sothea Touch Dumoitier began their education journey in 2008 at Université Paris Cité, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences. They continued their studies at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2011 to 2013, obtaining a Master's Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a specialization in Immunology. They further pursued higher education at the same university from 2013 to 2016, earning a PhD in Physiology, Physiopathology, and Therapeutics.
