Hazel Remesch

Hazel Remesch currently serves as the Director of State and Local Policy for Ohio at Enterprise Community Partners, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this, Hazel was the Managing Attorney at The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland for 15 years, overseeing the Housing practice group and the Right to Counsel program, with a focus on housing law and advocacy. Additional roles include Supervising Attorney, Senior Attorney, and Staff Attorney at the same organization, as well as a Fellowship with The Sisters of Charity Foundation Cleveland. Earlier in the career, Hazel worked as an Associate in insurance defense litigation with Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig LLP and Oramas & Associates, P.A. Hazel holds a Doctor of Law degree from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
