Sharon L. Heck

Sharon Heck is currently a board member at Enterprise Community Partners, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to that, they were a tax partner at PwC from 2017 to 2018. From 2008 to 2017, they served as corporate secretary and VP of tax at Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Sharon Heck started their career in 1991 as an audit associate and tax senior associate at Coopers & Lybrand LLP. Sharon then became state and local tax manager at the same company from 1996 to 1997 before moving to Ernst & Young LLP as a partner in their business tax group in 1997. Sharon Heck remained at Ernst & Young until 2008 when they took on their role at Berkshire Hathaway.

Sharon L. Heck has a JD from Creighton University, a Masters in Taxation from Georgia State University, and a BS in Accounting from Troy University. Sharon also has certification from the Colorado Judicial Branch as an attorney, the State of Nebraska as an attorney, and the State of Georgia as a Certified Public Accountant. Sharon is also in the process of becoming a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) from The Institutes.
