Bala Deshpande

Bala Deshpande is the Head of Data Science at Enterprise Minds, Inc since October 2022, focusing on productizing and monetizing data science, as well as building advanced machine learning products. Previously, Bala held significant roles in various organizations, including Sr. Engagement Manager for Data Science at Rockwell Automation, Senior Manager for Data, Analytics and AI product integration at ZF Group, and Manager of Data Science and AI at Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited. Bala's expertise spans developing AI/ML models, leading client engagements in AI solutions at IBM, and founding SimaFore, a company dedicated to predictive analytics. Early career experience includes roles in automotive crash analytics at Ford Motor Company and engineering consulting at EASi Engineering. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Carnegie Mellon University, along with master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah and Visvesvaraya Technological University, respectively.
