Denise Nastaya Harjoko

Denise Nastaya Harjoko has a diverse range of work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Young Talent Associate at Enterprise Singapore. In 2019, they were an Entrepreneur in Residence at YSI SEA, where they developed and co-founded an impact start-up. Denise Nastaya also worked as a Research Intern at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory, focusing on plant senescence. From 2017 to 2019, they were involved with Hatch, empowering youths and connecting them with startups and SMEs. Prior to that, they held various roles at Cat Café, NUS PEACE, AIESEC NUS, University Scholars Club, Kumon Asia & Oceania, Dressabelle, and Pacific World. These roles ranged from Events Director to Teaching Assistant and Logistics Manager. Throughout their experiences, Denise has demonstrated strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Denise Nastaya Harjoko completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) in Life Sciences from the National University of Singapore from 2016 to 2020. During this time, they also participated in the University Scholars Programme at the National University of Singapore. In 2019, Denise took part in a semester-long Student Exchange Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
