Vanessa Ang

Vanessa Ang's work experience began in 2015 when they worked as a Feature Writer for Reworld Media's Be Asia website. In 2016, they joined Tulchan Communications LLP as an Executive, where they contributed to corporate and financial communications for various companies. Vanessa then transitioned to the role of Associate in 2019 until 2021. Currently, Vanessa Ang is employed by Enterprise Singapore, starting as a Business Partner in the Corporate Communications department from May 2021 to March 2023. Vanessa has now taken on the role of Senior Business Partner in the same department from April 2023 to the present.

Vanessa Ang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the National University of Singapore, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. During their time at the university, they focused on Sociology as their field of study. In 2014 to 2015, they also attended Lund University and earned another Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. At Lund University, Vanessa specialized in areas such as Sociology of Migration, Gender Studies: Science and Technology, and Scandinavian Models of Equality. Prior to their university studies, they attended Catholic Junior College from 2010 to 2011 and completed their High School education. Their high school curriculum at Catholic Junior College included subjects such as General Paper, Literature, Economics, Geography, Mathematics, and Project Work. Earlier in their academic journey, Vanessa attended St. Anthony's Canossian Secondary School from 2006 to 2009, where they completed their High School education. At St. Anthony's Canossian Secondary School, they studied subjects like English, Chinese, Mathematics, Geography, Social Studies, History, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
