Shaun Sage has a long and varied career in customer service, starting with a role as Assistant Manager at French Connection in 2005. In 2012, they moved to JAMIE'S ITALIAN LIMITED as a Senior Host, where they managed the door of a busy restaurant and supported colleagues in any way they could. In 2014, they worked as a Food and Beverage Host at Marriott Hotels. Shaun then moved to Virgin Money in 2015, where they worked as a Virgin Money Lounge Host and helped members feel welcome. That same year, they also worked as a Sales Executive at Swinton Group, helping customers renew their car insurance and upselling on the call. In 2016, they joined Virgin Money Giving as a Senior Charity Helpdesk Advisor, where they supported people raising funds for UK charities and community organisations. Currently, Shaun Sage is working as a Customer Support & Onboarding Manager at Enthuse, which they began in 2022.

Shaun Sage graduated from North Walsham High School. Shaun has obtained two certifications from Intercom, one in August 2022 for "Build an effective Conversational Support team" and one in February 2022 for "Become a Conversational Support Expert".
