Olivera Rakic

Olivera Rakic is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and research. Currently serving as the Head of Research at Entis since February 2018, Olivera focuses on developing new datasets for quantitative equity strategies, specializing in alternative data and natural language processing. Prior to this role, Olivera held various positions at Deloitte from 2012 to January 2018, progressing from Data Scientist to Manager Analytics/Senior Data Scientist. Earlier career experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy from 2011 to 2012. Olivera holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics from Leiden University, as well as a Master of Science (MSc, Cum laude) in Astronomy from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Astrophysics from the University of Belgrade.
