Olga Ilnytska

Senior Scientist at entrinsic bioscience

Olga Ilnytska's work experience begins in 1995 as a Research Investigator/Scientist at the Institute of Cell Biology NAS of Ukraine. Olga worked there until 2006.

From 2005 to 2008, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center, where they studied the transcriptional regulation of Agouti related protein and its role in energy balance regulation and obesity.

In 2008, Olga joined Rutgers University as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, focusing on investigating host-pathogen interactions in (+) RNA virus-infected cells. Olga made notable discoveries related to host lipid cholesterol as a potential target for antivirals and the role of host endocytic proteins in viral replication. Olga 'swork was published in Cell Host and Microbe in 2013. Olga also identified PI4-KinaseIIIβ as a critical host factor for enteroviral RNA replication.

Olga's next position at Johnson & Johnson, which they held from 2013 to 2015, was as a Postdoctoral Scientist. Here, they performed applied research for consumer healthcare products, specializing in sunscreens and anti-aging skincare. Olga developed assays and in vitro models for aging and epidermal barrier marker quantification, led preclinical studies in human skin equivalents, and provided innovative ideas for new products and intellectual property.

After that, Olga returned to Rutgers University as a Visiting Scholar from 2016 to the present. Olga also worked as a Research Associate (Instructor) during this time. Details regarding their roles and responsibilities in these capacities are not provided.

Most recently, Olga began working as a Senior Scientist at entrinsic bioscience in 2021. Olga 'sresponsibilities there include the early discovery and development of new technologies and product concepts, as well as managing grant proposals.

Olga Ilnytska completed their PhD in Cell Biology from the Institute of Cell Biology NAS of Ukraine from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, they pursued their MS in Biochemistry with a focus on Biology at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. No specific start or end dates were mentioned for their undergraduate degree.
