Tiago Carvalho

Tiago Carvalho is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Data Scientist Consultant at Inovia since August 2017, while also holding the position of Data Scientist at Entrupy since October 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Professor/Researcher at the Federal Institute of São Paulo - Campinas from January 2016 to March 2021, and as a Plain Technologist at the Brazilian Centre for Monitoring and Early Warnings of Natural Disasters (Cemaden) from September 2014 to January 2016, focusing on research and development related to natural hazards. Tiago's earlier career includes a role as a Programmer at IFET Sudeste MG from April 2004 to September 2014, specializing in system analysis, development, and maintenance utilizing PHP and JavaScript. Tiago holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Digital Forensics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, complemented by a Master's degree in Computer Science specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora.
