Rahmat Khezri

Rahmat Khezri is a Senior Battery Energy Storage Engineer at Entura since January 2024, specializing in renewable energy engineering with a focus on battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar PV designs, and hybrid energy systems. Previously, Khezri worked as a Battery System Engineer at infinitev, where responsibilities included estimating the remaining lifetime of retired electric vehicle batteries and commercializing second-life BESS for various applications. Khezri also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology, leading projects aimed at developing vehicle-to-grid technologies, and held positions as a Visiting Scholar at Aarhus University and a Research Fellow at the University of Tsukuba. Khezri holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Flinders University and a Professional Certificate in Leading Innovative Teams & Leadership for Innovation from the University of Melbourne.
