Ben Strauss has worked in the IT and automation industry since 2013. In 2013, they worked as an Account Manager for Syncfusion, where they sold .NET development components and exceeded a monthly quota every month for over a year. In 2014, they were the 2nd Account Executive hire at a hypergrowth startup, Ansible by Red Hat, where they were the total Sales Bookings leader in 2014 and 2015, and designed the sales onboarding program. In 2015, they worked as a Solution Sales Specialist for Red Hat, where they designed and sold highly complex enterprise specialized automation solutions in Fortune 500 accounts, advised product teams on customer feedback, and designed key features for the product roadmap. In 2019, they worked as a Sales Manager for MindPoint Group, where they led the vertical integration of GRC, DevSecOps, and Security Engineering services to create new market opportunities for growth in the security sector, and defined the inbound sales model for private sector consulting. Currently, they are a Solution Sales Specialist for env0, where they provide automated, collaborative remote-run workflows management and governance for any IaC deployment, and enables users and teams to jointly govern cloud deployments with self-service capabilities.

Ben Strauss attended Elon University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry and a BA in Chemistry and Cellular Biology.
