Greg Miknis

Greg Miknis has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biosciences industry. Greg currently holds the role of Principal Scientist, Lead generation chemistry at Enveda Biosciences since April 2023. Previously, they worked at Machavert Pharmaceuticals as VP of Drug Discovery from July 2015 to August 2021, where they achieved significant corporate objectives, including research planning, patent strategy, and team expansion. Greg also served as a Medicinal Chemist Consultant at Edgewise Therapeutics from September 2020 to May 2021, overseeing chemistry efforts at two foreign CRO organizations. Greg has also made notable contributions as the Associate Director of the Colorado Center for Drug Discovery from February 2010 to October 2016, where they established strategic goals, managed contracts, and promoted drug discovery efforts. Before that, they held positions at Array BioPharma and Abbott Laboratories, where they demonstrated expertise in medicinal chemistry and research development. Greg's career began as an American Cancer Society Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, where they contributed to total synthesis efforts.

Greg Miknis earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the University of Wyoming from 1982 to 1987. Greg then pursued a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at Colorado State University from 1987 to 1993. After completing their PhD, Greg undertook a postdoctoral program in Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin from 1993 to 1995.
