Matthew Tave

Matthew Tave has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew started their career at Darden as a Front of House staff member from November 2003 to August 2006, before moving to Brinker International as a Front of House employee from September 2007 to May 2009. Matthew then transitioned into an academic role at The University of Texas at San Antonio, where they served as a Geoscience Teaching Assistant from August 2009 to May 2011. Matthew continued their academic pursuits at Texas Tech University, working as a Graduate Geoscience Teaching Assistant from August 2011 to May 2013.

In 2012, Matthew briefly worked as a Development Geologist at Mewbourne Oil Co from May to August. Matthew then joined Baker Hughes as a Petrophysicist in July 2013, where they were responsible for analyzing, processing, and interpreting well logs across North America. Additionally, they provided geological recommendations and specialized in BHI's acoustic and resistivity imaging logs. Matthew also served as a geological advisor for special projects in the Permian Basin.

From 2016 onwards, Matthew's career took a shift towards the financial services industry. Matthew joined Enverus in March 2016 as a Technical Advisor, progressing to become a Sr. Technical Advisor from October 2016 to January 2019. Matthew then took on the role of a Team Lead - Technical Advisor from January 2019 to January 2020. Matthew further advanced their career within Enverus, serving as a Technical Account Director - Financial Services from January 2020 to October 2021, a Sr. Account Director - Financial Services from September 2021 to February 2023, and finally as a Principal Account Director - Financial Services from January 2022 onwards.

Matthew Tave has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geophysics from Texas Tech University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geology from The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2006 to 2011. Matthew completed their high school education at Dulles High School and obtained a High School Diploma in 2006. Additionally, they hold a certification as an Open Water and Nitrox Scuba Certified from Scuba Schools International, which was obtained in 2004.
