Aseem Pandey has worked in various roles since 2011. Aseem began their career as a Production Engineer at ONGC, where they supervised a 5-member team of engineers and technicians and managed external contractors and vendors. Aseem was awarded the Asset Manager award in 2014 for minimizing production loss. In 2016, they became a Graduate Student at the University of Calgary, where they directed experiments and analysis leading to the discovery of a novel patent-pending process for templating active solid materials. Aseem was also responsible for screening the Enhanced oil recovery potential of over 5 nanoparticles for heavy oil recovery. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder of InnvTek Inc, where they secured a GreenSTEM fellowship from the Government of Alberta and administered customer discovery sessions. In 2020, they joined EnviCore Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Innovation Officer. In their roles, they developed patent-pending processes to repurpose mining tailings and minerals waste, a robust tailings treatment technology, and a low carbon-intensive tailings treatment technology. Aseem also extracted valuable nanomaterials from the tailings waste and coordinated with clients for technology development and implementation.
Aseem Pandey has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Aseem also holds a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering from UPES, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Aseem has also obtained four certifications: Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) from Bloomberg LP in September 2021, Azure AI Fundamentals from Microsoft in August 2021, Technology and Ethics from Coursera in July 2014, and Waterflood Management from NExT Schlumberger in February 2014.
