Maura McCaffery

VP & General Counsel at EnviroBusiness, Inc.

Maura serves as Vice President and General Counsel to EBI Consulting. She focuses on all legal aspects of due diligence services for all three of EBI’s business units. Her responsibilities also include advising and managing corporate strategic legal initiatives, managing real estate and corporate best practices, as well as corporate permitting, client and subcontractor contract management, and insurance.

Prior to joining EBI, Maura worked in private practice for firms including Goulston & Storrs and Bingham McCutchen, with a focus on environmental land use and permitting matters for corporate and institutional clients throughout the U.S. She has worked on real estate development projects and land sales, overseeing environmental compliance and due diligence and adding legal insight to consultants' work product. Her practice focused on permitting, approvals, legal and regulatory compliance, and contract management, with significant experience in largescale real estate development, utility, energy, and telecommunications ventures.

Maura received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in neuropsychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Corporate Counsel Association and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She is also a former member of the City of Cambridge Conservation Commission and the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts.
