Don Weatherbee

Don Weatherbee is the current Chief Financial Officer at EnviroLeach. Don has held this position since 2015. Prior to that, they were the Chief Business Officer at KMC Mining for 14 years. In that role, they were responsible for long- and short-range planning, bidding/tendering evaluation, capital planning, information systems, data management, risk management, supply chain management, and process improvement. Don was also a founding principal at Hive Corporate Consulting and a site controller at Luscar Ltd.

Don Weatherbee's educational career includes obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in accounting from the University of Alberta. Don is also certified by the AICPA as a Certified Information Technology Professional, by CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada) as a Chartered Professional Accountant, and by CMA Strategic Leadership Program as a CMA SLP Moderator. In addition, they have passed Level 1 of the CFA Program and has completed the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta's CFO Leadership Program and Society of Management Accountants of Alberta's Certified Management Accountant program.

They are on a team with Ish Grewal - Executive Vice President, Wayne Moorhouse - COO, and Hanif Jafari - Chief Technology Officer. Don Weatherbee reports to Duane Nelson, President & CEO.
