Sue Charlton

Sue Charlton is an experienced ecologist currently serving as an Associate Ecologist at Environment Bank since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sue held the position of Principal Ecologist at Delta-Simons from May 2017 to August 2021, and worked at Argus Ecology Ltd as an Ecologist from April 2010 to May 2017, where responsibilities included project management, protected species surveys, and preparing ecological reports. Additional experience includes serving as Development Manager for Lanchester Parish Council and various roles at Durham Wildlife Trust, including Project Manager, focusing on landscape-scale ecological initiatives. Early career involvement at WWT involved habitat restoration and management, further solidifying expertise in environmental biology, which was formally studied at the University of Sunderland, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology.
