Dan O'Brien

Dan O'Brien is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in climate advocacy and organizational management. As a Senior Associate at the Environmental and Energy Study Institute since April 2018, Dan has co-led a team executing over 85 Congressional briefings on diverse climate topics and prepared high-profile speakers for U.S. presentations. Previous roles include Operations Associate at EESI, where Dan liaised with national climate change experts and implemented a work-from-home policy in response to the pandemic. Dan's prior experience spans various positions, such as Assistant Account Manager at Howard W. Phillips & Co., where administrative projects were managed and new employees trained, and Operations Coordinator for an RC Airplane Manufacturer, supporting executive operations. Dan holds two Master's degrees in Global Smart City Management from the Universitat de Barcelona and ZIGURAT Institute of Technology, alongside a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Dutchess Community College.
