Daniel Padilla serves as the Founding History/Social Studies Department Chair and Founding Ethnic Studies Teacher at Environmental Charter Schools since August 2021. Daniel's professional development includes participating in notable programs such as the UC Davis Teaching for Environmental Justice and UCLA's K-12 Teacher Workshop on Korean History and Culture. Previous educational experience includes roles as a Substitute Teacher and Student Teacher at Lynwood Unified School District, as well as a Teacher Assistant in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Daniel's educational background comprises a Master of Arts in Teaching from Pepperdine University, a Bachelor of Arts in History and Social Studies Education from California State University-Dominguez Hills, and two Associate of Arts degrees from El Camino College. Prior to a career in education, Daniel gained experience in various roles at CarMax and The Home Depot.
