Colin Leyden

Colin Leyden is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public policy and legislative affairs, currently serving as the Director of State Regulator & Legislative Affairs for Oil & Gas at the Environmental Defense Fund since January 2015. Prior to this role, Colin held the position of Managing Director at DCI Group, providing strategic advice on public and government affairs from March 2008 to December 2014. As Executive Director of the Texas League of Conservation Voters from October 2005 to March 2008, Colin developed political strategies and lobbied the Texas legislature on key legislative issues. Earlier experience includes serving as Legislative Director for a state representative from January 2003 to October 2005, where Colin managed legislative processes and provided political counsel. Colin Leyden earned a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in 1991.
