Dan Grossman

Vice President, Energy Transition

Dan Grossman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in environmental policy and law. Currently serving as Vice President of Energy Transition at the Environmental Defense Fund since May 2006, Dan leads global initiatives to reduce methane emissions from fossil fuel operations. Prior roles include Associate Vice President, managing teams focused on global energy transition, and Rocky Mountain Regional Director, where Dan emphasized energy, natural gas, and water policy across the Rocky Mountain region. Dan also served as a State Senator in the Colorado General Assembly from 2002 to 2006, holding several leadership positions, including Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Previously, Dan worked as Senior Corporate Counsel at TeleTech, where responsibilities included labor and employment law, and as an attorney at Faegre & Benson LLP. Dan holds a JD from the University of Denver College of Law and a BA in Political Science from the University of Kansas.
