Grant Johnson

Grant Johnson has extensive experience in historic preservation, currently serving as the Historic Preservation Services Leader at Environmental Design & Research since June 2012. Responsibilities include overseeing the Historic Preservation team and managing projects across the northeast, mid-Atlantic, and midwestern markets, focusing on historic surveys, tax credit applications, and National Register nominations. Prior roles include Senior Project Manager and Cultural Resources Project Manager, where Grant ensured project delivery and agency coordination. Grant's earlier experience includes internships with the National Park Service and various city planning departments. Grant holds a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Syracuse University.
