Emma Perez

Senior Associate, Latin America & Caribbean at Environmental Incentives

Emma serves as an International Project Associate at Environmental Incentives. In this capacity, she supports the planning and implementation of the USAID Measuring Impact II project in the South American Region. Emma brings over six years of experience in international development, with a focus in program design and monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes.

Prior to joining EI, Emma worked with Dexis Consulting Group as a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Western Hemisphere Programs at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru. She also interned with the USAID Peru Mission under the Afro-Peruvian and Indigenous Communities Program (APIC). In this role she supported the capacity building and monitoring and evaluation efforts for the Governance and Institutional Strengthening portfolio.

Emma believes in evidence-based practices for effective decision-making that improve social, economic, and environmental outcomes. She is particularly interested in developing effective collaborative processes to positively impact sustainable livelihoods in Peru and the Amazon Basin.
