Associate, Measuring Impact II at Environmental Incentives

Gabriel Kiritz is an Associate with the Measuring Impact II (MI2) project. He brings nearly five years of experience in domestic and international conservation to Environmental Incentives (EI), in addition to extensive experience with facilitation and experiential education. Gabriel’s skills in teaching, guiding, and coaching help EI’s clients learn from and develop new biodiversity conservation and climate resilience activities.

Before joining EI and MI2, Gabriel provided programmatic and technical support as an independent consultant with the Centro de Estudio y Conservación del Patrimonio Natural in Chile, where he supported projects covering issues from spatial planning for renewable energy to private conservation mechanisms and public-private partnerships. Additionally, he co-founded and ran a small business focused on revitalizing local food systems by creating links between community consumers and farmers practicing regenerative agriculture, and he spent many years working as an educator and facilitator with leadership organizations such as NOLS.

Gabriel believes that empathy is foundational to both conservation and development and strives to foster positive change daily by building connections among individuals and communities.
