Senior Specialist, Program Cycle Mechanism at Environmental Incentives

Takah serves as a Program Cycle Mechanism Specialist and is currently embedded with the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Affairs’s Applied Learning Team.

Takah brings over 15 years of experience in international development to his role at Environmental Incentives. Prior to joining EI, he provided Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) expertise in roles with Catholic Relief Services, Winrock International, and International Executive Service Corps. Takah has spearheaded efforts to design and implement MEL systems for a range projects across the globe, including anti-human trafficking, anti-child labor, early childhood development, agriculture, and peace building. He began his career in humanitarian assistance working for Jesuit Refugee Service, Refugees International, and International Organization for Migration.

Takah aspires to see the field of international development include more voices and philanthropic efforts from the Global South. In addition, he hopes to inspire more efforts by Global South governments to invest in human development, especially in health and education.
