Eva L. has a diverse range of work experience in the environmental science field. Eva began their career as a Research Intern at Profile Genomics, where they gained experience in DNA shearing and gel electrophoresis. Eva then worked as an Advocacy Fellow at the Alliance for Climate Education, where they conducted public speaking engagements, lobbied government officials, and participated in environmental activism. Eva's next role was as a Field Assistant at the University of California, Davis, where they conducted fieldwork on the interaction between the giant garter snake and the invasive American bullfrog. Eva also worked as a Waterway Stewardship Intern at the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden, where they assisted in constructing irrigation systems, monitoring water quality, and planting native wildlife. Eva's most recent position was as a Post-Baccalaureate Researcher at the University of Nevada, Reno, where they analyzed the macronutrient composition of pollens and nectars in wildflowers. Currently, Eva works as a Biologist at Environmental Science Associates, where they conduct surveys and monitoring for various protected species and prepares monitoring reports.
Eva L. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science & Management from the University of California, Davis, from 2017 to 2021. Additionally, they pursued minors in Psychology and Communications during the same time period at the same university. Eva also obtained various certifications, including Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in June 2022, Open Water Diver certification from PADI in June 2022, and a California Boater Card from California State Parks in April 2021.
