Timothy M. Sturtz

Timothy M. Sturtz is a seasoned professional in environmental science and engineering, currently serving as the Business Development Lead and Air Quality Specialist at Environmental Science Associates since January 2021. Previously, Timothy held various positions at Ramboll, including Managing Consultant and Senior Associate, where responsibilities encompassed emission inventory development, environmental reviews, and dispersion modeling. Timothy is also an active member of the Transportation Research Board's Standing Committees on Environmental Issues in Transportation Law and Marine Environment, contributing expertise from April 2017 to May 2025. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from Michigan Technological University. Research contributions include published work on chemical transport model source attribution in a peer-reviewed journal.
