Kevin Coen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kevin is currently a Senior Operating Partner and Investment Committee member at Assembler Growth Capital LLC since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Enviroscent, Inc., a PE-backed business with multiple brands, including Enviroscent and ScentSicles. Kevin held this position from October 2018 till the present.
Before joining Enviroscent, Inc., Kevin was the CEO of Las Olas Confections and Snacks, a company owned by BBX Capital. During their tenure from October 2016 to July 2018, they oversaw six brands within the entity, including Anastasia, Helen Grace, KenCraft, Droga Chocolates, Hoffman's, and William Bennett.
From July 2015 to May 2016, Kevin took on the role of President at The Popcorn Factory, a $45 million Consumer Goods brand with various sales channels. Prior to this, they served as the President of Fannie May Brands, a $90 million company comprising Fannie May Confections, Fanny Farmer, and Harry London brands. Their time at Fannie May Brands was from October 2013 to May 2016.
Kevin's experience also includes being the CEO of North America & EMEA at Crabtree & Evelyn from August 2011 to October 2013. In this role, they led the turnaround and potential sell-off of the $200 million global brand.
Before joining Crabtree & Evelyn, Kevin held the position of Head of North America Consumer Goods Division at Swarovski North America Limited. Kevin had complete P&L responsibility for this $400 million omni-channel division from an unspecified start date till 2011.
Prior to Swarovski, Kevin worked at Lindt & Sprungli as Vice President, responsible for starting up the retail business for Lindt Chocolate in the US. Kevin held this role from an unspecified start date till 2003.
At the start of their career, Kevin worked at Todd Uniform as COO from an unspecified start date till 1994, and at Wear Guard as Vice President from an unspecified start date till 1992.
Kevin Coen attended St. Patrick's High School from 1969 to 1973, where they studied general business. Kevin then attended Bentley University from 1974 to 1977, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any particular field of study.
