Adele Buss (Norman)

Adele Buss (Norman) has extensive work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical writing. Adele is currently employed as a Senior Scientific Director & Team Lead at Envision Pharma Group since February 2023. Prior to their current role, Adele worked at Oxford PharmaGenesis as a Medical Director from May 2021 to February 2023, and as an Associate Medical Director from September 2018 to April 2021. Adele also has experience at Watermeadow Medical, an Ashfield company, where they held various roles such as Principal Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer, Medical Writer, and Associate Medical Writer from 2012 to 2018. Adele's earlier work experience includes being a Research Associate and Tutor at Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge from 2010 to 2011, pursuing a PhD in Cellular Neuroscience at Imperial College London from 2005 to 2009, and working as a Scientist at AstraZeneca R&D from 2004 to 2005 and at Novartis from 2002 to 2003.

Adele Buss (Norman) attended The University of Manchester from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Biomedical Sciences. Adele then pursued further education at Imperial College London from 2006 to 2010, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained a certification as a Certified Medical Publications Professional from the ISMPP (International Society for Medical Publication Professionals) in March 2017.
