James Mercer

James Mercer is a seasoned professional in the sports and commercial sector, currently serving as the Commercial Director at Envision Racing Formula E since January 2019, where the focus is on promoting climate action through renewable energy and electric vehicles. Prior to this role, James held the position of Commercial Director at the Lawn Tennis Association from May 2014 to January 2019, overseeing revenue generation for various tennis initiatives in Britain. James also served as Commercial Director for The Rugby Football League from March 2012 to May 2014, managing revenue streams across rugby properties, and held the role of Commercial and Media Director for the FIA World Rally Championship from January 2006 to March 2012, driving revenues through various media opportunities. Earlier in the career, James was a Commercial Manager at the International Tennis Federation from January 2001 to January 2006 and began as a Player Agent at ProServ from March 1994 to December 2000.
