Alison Shipley

Alison Shipley has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in revenue cycle optimization and transformation. Alison currently holds the position of Vice President, Network Strategy Enablement at Envision Healthcare. Prior to that, they worked at The Chartis Group as a Principal and Partner, where they provided leadership in client services, team development, business development, and thought leadership for the revenue cycle practice. Alison also led transformation projects for large hospitals and academic medical centers. Before joining The Chartis Group, Alison was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLP, where they led strategic initiatives to improve revenue cycle operations and financial performance for hospitals and health systems. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Project Manager at athenahealth, managing the implementation of physician practice management services for small practices. Alison's work experience also includes roles at The Prospect Hill Foundation, where they evaluated non-profit organizations and prepared grant proposals, and Tulane University Emergency Medical Service, where they served as the Director of Training and an EMT.

Alison Shipley earned a BA in English from Tulane University in 2002. Alison then pursued an MPH in Health Policy and Financing from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, completing their studies in 2005.
