Chris Schwan

Chris Schwan, MD, currently serves as the Chairman of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee since November 2020 and as a Staff Anesthesiologist at Envision Healthcare, specializing in pediatric and adult anesthesiology. Chris's prior experience includes serving as a SOF Med in operational and aeromedical medicine from July 2010 to July 2016, where responsibilities comprised aeromedical care, training medical personnel, and providing medical assistance in remote environments. Additional roles include a Flight Surgeon in Aerospace Medicine from July 2010 to 2012, and a Surgical Internship at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where extensive trauma and surgical training were completed. Chris's educational background includes a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and an Anesthesiology Residency from the University of Florida, along with a Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center. A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Latin American Studies from LeTourneau University enhances Chris's comprehensive medical training.
