Envision Regional Medical Director at Envision Healthcare

Jennifer Waxler began their work experience in 2002 as the Vice President of St Barnabas Healthcare System at EMA. Jennifer went on to serve as the Chairman of EMS Council NJ and the Chairman of NASEMSO. Jennifer also worked as the Critical Care Transport Director and MAB Physician Board at MONOC. From 2006 to 2013, they were the Medical Consultant at NJ OEMS and the State Medical Director Representative for NASEMSO. Jennifer then became the Chairman of the Emergency Department at Brandon Regional Hospital under EmCare. In 2014, they worked as the EMS Medical Director at Busch Gardens. From 2016 onwards, they served as the Regional HCA Chief at Sheridan Healthcare. Finally, in 2019, Jennifer joined Envision Healthcare as the Envision Regional Medical Director.

Jennifer Waxler completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Pre-med from Washington & Jefferson College from 1981 to 1985. Jennifer then attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained their Doctor of Osteopathy degree. After that, they did an AOA Rotating Internship at Humana Pembroke Hospital from 1990 to 1991 and completed their Residency in Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center from 1991 to 1994. In 1996, they obtained the certification of Board Certified in Emergency Medicine from the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Education.
