Bintang Ekananda

Bintang Ekananda is a dedicated professional in environmental engineering and sustainability, currently serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of Alner, where efforts focus on addressing single-use plastic waste through reusable and returnable packaging. In addition to this leadership role, Bintang is a lecturer in Environmental Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong and works as a Venture Builder at Enviu, promoting local ventures that reduce plastic usage. Previous experience includes positions as a Senior Engineer at Gasd Geosby Indonesia, conducting energy audits as an MSc Research Project Student at Northern, and providing health and safety engineering expertise at PT Lautan Luas Tbk. Bintang holds an MSc in Energy and Environment from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from Diponegoro University.
