Oscar Young

Oscar Young has an extensive work history in accounting and finance roles, with positions at various companies over the years. Oscar held roles such as Vice President of Technical Accounting and Vice President and Corporate Controller at Enviva. Prior to that, they worked in senior accounting positions at Competitive Power Ventures, Inc., The AES Corporation, Freddie Mac, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Hanger, Inc., EY, and Hozik & Company PLC. Oscar has experience in accounting policy, SEC reporting, auditing, and technical advisory services, showcasing a well-rounded skill set in the field.

Oscar Young obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems from George Mason University – Costello College of Business in 1998. Oscar also completed an Executive Leadership Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2010. Additionally, Oscar holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Virginia Board of Accountancy and a Diploma in IFRSs from the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES.
