Lawrence Young

Lawrence Young has worked in various roles since 2011. Lawrence began their career as a Finance Associate (Co-op) at QNX Software Systems in 2011. Lawrence then worked as an Analyst, Investment Finance, Cash Management (Co-op) at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in 2012. In the same year, they were a Junior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain (Co-op) at Molson Coors Canada. In 2014, they were an Associate in the RBC Career Launch Program. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Developer, CRM Systems (Co-op) at Scotiabank, Software Developer, Digital Innovation (Co-op) at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. and Software Developer at RBC. In 2019, they were a Software Engineer at RBC Ventures, and in 2020 they were a Software Engineer, Product & Engineering Lead and Director, Product & Engineering at Envoi.

Lawrence Young obtained an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (Co-op) from Wilfrid Laurier University between 2009 and 2013. Lawrence then attended Sheridan College from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Software Development & Network Engineering (Co-op) degree. In addition, they obtained a Deep Learning Foundations Nanodegree from Udacity in January 2017 and a Machine Learning certificate from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016.
