Ron Millard

Ron joined Envoy in 2017 when Platform Partners and he acquired a majority interest in the company; he has served as Chief Executive Officer since December 2017. He focused Envoy’s resources exclusively on the distributed retail channel when Envoy sold its correspondent channel. Envoy’s retail originators know the company is 100% committed to serving them and helping them succeed with no channel or other corporate conflicts. Ron is responsible for Envoy’s overall strategy and ensuring that each colleague has the support needed to build a career that is rewarding on both a professional and personal level.

Ron has over 25 years of experience investing in and managing numerous private companies in a variety of industries. He leads as a servant leader, believes people make the difference between good and great companies, and feels blessed to work with the amazing team at Envoy. Ron received his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA from Stanford.

Ron and his amazing wife, Elisabeth, have two wonderful children who keep them very busy with sports, Boy Scouts, and other activities they enjoy as a family. Ron is active in several community organizations that passionately focus on making the world a better place. He serves on the board of a local medical research organization that works on the gut-brain connection aiming to cure several diseases through a better understanding of the microbiome’s role in health. Ron believes advances made in the field of microbiome research will have an amazing impact on improving global health conditions over the next decades.
