Josh Phillips

Josh is currently the Senior Director of Safety & Asset Protection at Chipotle, overseeing people security and life safety in restaurants and support centers, fraud investigations, physical security, and business continuity. Josh’s career experience spans the public service, retail, and restaurant industries. Prior to Chipotle, he served as Associate Vice President and head of global asset protection at Bath & Body Works, where he oversaw all aspects of protecting people, product, and property. Before Josh’s 12 ½ years at Bath & Body Works, he served in various asset protection and field leadership roles at Kate Spade, Starbucks, and Walmart. His public service included time with the Indiana Air National Guard, United States Air Force, and two emergency medical service agencies where he worked as an EMT-Paramedic. Josh is committed to remaining current and shaping the future of industry and legal trends in security and private investigations. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Legal & Forensic Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
