Gabriela Gutierrez

Gabriela Gutierrez, Ph.D., is a geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently working as a Geologist II at EOG Resources since June 2023, specializing in the Permian Basin in New Mexico. Prior experience includes positions as a Geologist and a Geology Intern with EOG Resources, and Geology Intern roles at ConocoPhillips and University Lands, along with significant research and academic work at The University of Texas at Austin. Gabriela has a strong background in geological interpretation and exploration, particularly within the Oriente Basin in Ecuador, complemented by academic qualifications including a Ph.D. in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences.
