Katelyn Gast

Katelyn Gast is a highly experienced professional in facilities engineering with a strong background in the energy sector. Currently serving as Facilities and Pipeline Lead at EOG Resources since January 2018, Katelyn previously held the position of Senior Facilities Engineer at BP from July 2012 to January 2018, where responsibilities included managing new well delivery and surface equipment design in East Texas. Katelyn's earlier roles included positions as a Facilities Engineer in BP's Challenge program and, prior to that, various internships with Bechtel, including Project Engineering Intern and Process Engineering Intern. Katelyn's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an ongoing pursuit of a Master of Business Administration at the University of Michigan, expected to be completed in December 2026.
