Sébastien Depoorter

Sébastien Depoorter is the current General Manager of R&D at éolane. Sébastien has been in this position since November of 2012. Prior to éolane, Sébastien worked as the Responsable secteurs d’activités R&D / R&D business development from November 2012 to October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the Medical/Health/Wellness, Industrialization, and Testing & Qualification sectors.

Sébastien’s daily work involves accompanying clients, imagining, creating, designing, and manufacturing. Sébastien is currently in charge of R&D activities, which allows him to have captivating meetings with clients and suppliers on a daily basis, as well as a permanent search for new technologies to meet the ambitious challenges of the different sectors addressed.

The appeal of a career in research and development is the search for new technologies to meet a product need. The R&D department of EOLANE COMBREE consists of 65 engineers and technicians who work in the three fields of Hardware/Software/Mechanical. The EOLANE COMBREE site consists of the manufacturing unit and R&D, which allows for increased reactivity in production phases and industrial constraints integration from the beginning of the design phase.

We also integrate specialized poles on the industrialization of products and the design of means of tests and qualifications.
