Dirk Lutz

Dirk Lutz has had a diverse work experience in the field of optical transmission solutions. Dirk started their career at Ericsson in 1997 as a Project Manager, specializing in Mux/Demux and OADM Section of ERION product. In 1999, they co-founded Transmode Systems AB and served as VP Marketing, Director of Strategy & Business Development. Dirk then went on to co-found Smartoptics in 2006, where they held the role of CTO & Head of Business Development. At Smartoptics, they worked on various optical transmission solutions and successfully built up the network for Value Added Resellers. In 2017, Dirk joined Eoptolink Technology Inc., Ltd. as a Distinguished Engineer.

Dirk Lutz earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Systemnätverk och telekommunikation from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 1991 to 1995.
