Giannis Papadopoulos

Giannis Papadopoulos is a highly experienced professional in the fields of private equity and venture capital, currently serving as Senior Partner and Co-Founder of EOS Capital Partners since December 2017, focusing on the development of a leading private equity group in Southeast Europe. Previously, Giannis held the position of Chairman of the Board at DEPA Commercial S.A., a key player in Greece's natural gas industry, from September 2019 to September 2024. As the founder and CEO of Attica Ventures from July 2003 to February 2018, Giannis led investments in Greek SMEs, resulting in significant growth and job creation. Additional roles include membership on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Development Bank and Public Power Corporation of Greece, as well as an executive position at Hellenic Tourism Development. Giannis holds an MBA in International Business and Exports Management from Bayes Business School and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
