Selim Bencuya

Selim Bencuya has extensive experience in engineering, technology, and product development. Selim is currently the Managing Director of Engineering at EOTech, a role they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Intevac for 10 years, where they held the position of Managing Director of Engineering. Selim has also worked at EmergentViews Inc., MagnaChip Semiconductor, ESS Technology, Pictos Technology, and Conexant in various technical and managerial roles. Selim'sexperience spans several industries and they have worked extensively on CMOS image sensors and other semiconductor technologies.

Selim Bencuya obtained their BSEE and MSEE degrees in Electrical Engineering from Boğaziçi University from 1974 to 1980. Selim then pursued their Ph.D. in EE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1980 to 1985.
